Boss Room is the first game I've made with just a pile of assets and a dream. Inspired by games like Dark Souls and Blasphemous, I wanted to use this project to tackle player combat. In making this game the core things that I learned were hit detection, basic enemy logic, and some quirks of Unity's UI elements. Boss Room was developed over about 2 months as my first real venture out of strictly following tutorials. For my next project, I will make a more solid plan from the beginning and stick to its scale as much as possible. This felt like an ambitious jump from the projects I've made prior but the learning experience that jump provided was well worth it and I look forward to taking more with my future projects. Please look forward to my next project, Dungeon Hero, in the next month (hopefully).
